# SLMN Token Utility (WIP) SLMN is the limited supply governance token for the Stacking Salmon Protocol. The total supply of SLMN is 100,000,000. SLMN can be staked into xSLMN within the application to earn protocol fees native to the platform and help secure the protocol for long term. SLMN can additionally be put into liquidity pools with Bera native pairings within partnered protocols such as Kodiak to help sustain POL (protocol owned liquidity) and earn incentives such as rewards and bribes provided by Salmon and/or Kodiak.
